The “Love Your Team Challenge” is a challenge to commit to more intentionally loving your team for 30 days.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Make a commitment that you will more intentionally love your team for 30 days, in all the little moments. The commitment is more powerful if you tell someone else, such as a mentor, who can help keep you accountable to it.
  2. Blog or record notes about what transpires each day. Reflect on the situations where you intentionally loved your team, and any things you noticed that flowed from this.
  3. When you have completed the 30 days, share your experience and what you learned (#LoveYourTeamChallenge). Did it benefit yourself, your team, your business?
  4. Encourage other leaders you know to take the challenge too.

Making this 30 day commitment may be one of the best gifts you could give your team and your business. It could trigger a pattern of growing care and goodwill in your team. I know from experience the joy and the amazing results that can come from working in a team whose culture is underpinned by this kind of genuine care.

Here are some thoughts on how to love your team to consider while you take the challenge.
